My Story- 21 Day Fix Results

So I've always love fitness and being healthy but after having a baby (as most moms can relate) I found myself not looking as I was hoping. I was so INCREDIBLY happy to be a mom and my heart was filled with joy but every time I looked in the mirror I was struck with the realization that I wasn't as in shape as I was before my pregnancy. I wasn't to hard on my self at first. Everyone told me the baby fat would just melt away because I was nursing full time. But after 6 months it seemed like I was actually gaining more weight. So I knew it was time for a change. I have the most AMAZING husband ever and he agreed that he would do Insanity with me to help my motivation. So we started at the beginning of the year. And for anyone that has done Insanity knows its not an easy program. I had the most, lets say fitness experience, so I took to it best and was doing all the moves and not doing as much modifications. But by the end of the 63 days, my husband was down some 20 lbs and I was down 5. 5! Are you kidding me! I was so discouraged. Not only had I been doing Insanity but I was jogging with my stroller and walking like 3-4 miles once a week at the zoo. So I went on Instagram for some fitness inspiration. I starting following as few people (randomly) and started seeing post from my now coach Jaclyn Stokes. See was posting about the 21 Day Fix and I instantly wanted to try it. It also came with portion control containers, that was the deal maker for me. I have the hardest time with self control when I come to food. If its yummy, I just want to keep eating. LOL They say you could lose up to 15 lbs in 21 days. That's what I needed! So I did. After my first round of the 21 Day Fix I was down 10 lbs and 8 1/2 inches.

The thought of posting this picture scared me so much. For those of you that know me I am a bit of an introvert. And putting my self out there like this when I was at my worse really was stepping out side my comfort zone. But I felt if it help just one person be motivated than it would be worth it. So here we go, this will be my journey back into health and fitness.
