Half Marathon training started TODAY!


So SUPER excited, I got my new jogging stroller. I have been really wanting to get back to running but with 2 kids it seemed like a lot bigger task. But I finally got it together and picked out the stroller I wanted (after much research). And found an awesome deal.


I got the 2015 Baby Jogger Summit X3!



And I LOVE it!





Took it for a spin today with my girls. And surprisingly they did great! Mar wasn't to happy about being strapped in (I never made her in my old stroller). But with a little snack bribery, she did alright. We had to stop a few times and had some fun at the park but I was worth it to get out and run a little.


But man...pushing a stroller with 2 kids gets heavy!


So my plan as of right now is to run 3-4 days a week and x-train the other 2-3 days a week. Doubling up on a few days to have rest on the weekend.

I committed to doing the San Diego Rock n' Roll Half Marathon in June 2016 with my aunt. And now one of my cousins and possibly my sister in law wants to join me. Which makes it undeniably happening for me. But I couldn't be happier. Sometimes its others that really help you push to do something you wanted to in the first place.

I am also thinking of maybe doing a few 5K/10K's before that. Thats where I stumbled a cross a Tinkerbell Half Marathon  in May, and thought that Mar would just love that.

She's super into Tinkerbell right now, and will hopefully still yet year!

We could also have a fun Disney Land Day afterwards.
