Tips for staying on track during football season

Football season is one of the worst for me!

With the beer and appetizers.

So here are a few tips to stay on track during football season!

First: Pre-eat before party's.
This will be the most important step to not giving into temptations. When your hungry, you tend to make way more bad decisions that if you were full.

Second: Bring a veggie platter!
Even if they didn't ask you to bring anything. Its just going to be a nice jester, and mite save you in a SNACK ATTACK!

Third: Drink responsibly.
And with that I mean, don't throw all your hard work away with a single drink. (easily done) Below is a recipe for a great cocktail that wont undo your GREAT week!
If you cant bring it with you than plan ahead. Remember: Failing to PLAN is planning to FAIL!

You’ll need:
1-2 bottles of crisp white wine, I used 1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc and 1 bottle of sparkling Vino Verde
2 ripe local peaches, sliced
1 pint raspberries
2 kiwis
several sprigs of mint
Stevia, I used the liquid kind

(If you need it a little stronger add a cup or two of vodka)

Simply add the sliced fruit and mint to the wine and add several squirts of stevia until desired sweetness is reached. Let sit for at least an hour in the fridge to let the flavors infuse. In the summertime it’s also nice to freeze half of the fruit and add right before serving so they act as ice cubes in the Sangria.
